At Red River Communications, we believe in the power of education and in supporting our youth as they strive for success. That’s why we’re proud to offer $1,000 scholarships to 12 local students to allow them to pursue their dreams and build a brighter future.

Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors whose families are Red River Communications members or customers. Whether heading to a university, community college, or technical/trade school, we want to help you take the next step in your educational journey.

Scholarships Available:

General Membership Scholarship ($1,000)– EIGHT $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students within our service territory of the cooperative. The parent/legal guardian of the applicant must be a member of the Red River Rural Telephone Association (DBA Red River Communications).

General Customer Scholarship ($1,000)– ONE $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student within our service territory. 

Vocational Scholarship ($1,000)– ONE $1,000 scholarship award to provide opportunities to a student pursuing an associate degree, credit-bearing certificate, or an industry-recognized credential at a vocational-technical school, trade school, two-year community college, or state college.

Technical Scholarship ($1,000)– ONE $1,000 scholarship award to support a student interested in the fields of telecommunications and technology who has a strong desire to attain an education and needs financial assistance.

Agricultural Scholarship ($1,000)– ONE $1,000 scholarship award for a student who plans to study for a career in some way connected to the agricultural industry.
