Switch to Red River and Get a $200 Bill Credit
New residential customers in eligible CLEC service areas, including the Wahpeton and Breckenridge communities, the Reconnect Grant project areas of Comstock and Sabin, plus any designated MN Line Extension areas, can receive a one-time $200 bill credit when switching to Red River Communications. We apply the credit 30 days after connection, on your second bill.

Mobile Phones and Service
For existing Red River Cellular subscribers
$400 Credit to an EXISTING subscriber towards purchasing a new 4G HD or 5G device (limited to the actual cost of the device).
Promotion Dates: October 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024
Promotion Eligibility:
- The qualifying subscriber MUST be an existing 4G HD or 5G subscriber who purchases and activates a new 4G HD or 5G device.
- All devices MUST be purchased from Red River Communications to be eligible for this promotion.
- The customer MUST choose a minimum of 30-month device financing or buy the device outright.
- Each line is limited to ONE TYPE of eligible promotion; any line with multiple types of promotions will be ineligible and will not receive a wholesale credit.
- This promotion CANNOT be used if the customer has received a promotion within the past 12 months.
- This promotion CANNOT be used on voice-only plans of 300 minutes or lower. The customer must be on an Unlimited Talk and Text Plan, an All Together Plan, a Simple Shared Plan, an Essential Shared Plan, or a Charged Unlimited Plan.
For new Red River Cellular subscribers
$500 credit to a NEW subscriber creating a new account or a NEW subscriber joining an existing account towards purchasing a new 4G HD or 5G device (limited to the actual cost).

Promotion Eligibility:
- The qualifying subscriber MUST be a new 4G HD or 5G subscriber who creates a new account or joins an existing account, and purchases and activates a new 4G HD or 5G device.

- The customer MUST choose a minimum of 30-month device financing or buy the device outright.

Promotion Eligibility:
- The qualifying subscriber MUST be a new 4G HD or 5G subscriber bringing their own 4G HD or 5G device and activating a new line and bringing their own device (BYOD).
- Each line is limited to ONE TYPE of eligible promotions; all lines with multiple types of promotions will be subject to ineligibility and will not be given a wholesale credit.
- This promotion CANNOT be used if the customer has received a promotion within the past 12 months.
- This promotion CANNOT be used on voice-only plans of 300 minutes or lower. The customer must be on an Unlimited Talk and Text Plan, All Together Plan, Simple Shared Plan, Essential Shared Plan, or Charged Unlimited Plan.
$100 Port In credit
$100 to any NEW 4G HD or 5G subscriber who ports in from AT&T, T-Mobile, or US Cellular.
Promotion Dates: September 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024
Promotion Eligibility:
- The qualifying subscriber MUST be a new 4G HD or 5G subscriber porting in from AT&T, T-Mobile, or US Cellular.
- The qualifying subscriber MUST purchase a new 4G HD or 5G device from Red River Communications to be eligible for this promotion.
- The customer MUST choose a minimum of 30-month device financing or buy the device outright.
- This promotion can ONLY be combined with the $500 New Line Credit. If combined with other promotions, each line will be subject to ineligibility and will not be given a wholesale credit.
