Since 1951, Red River Communications has been connecting neighbors, families, farms, businesses, and communities across the Red River Valley. What began as a small rural telephone cooperative has grown into a leading provider of fiber-optic internet, digital television, phone, and business communications—while remaining true to the cooperative values that started it all.
In 2026, we’re proud to celebrate our 75th Anniversary—a milestone made possible by the members, customers, employees, and communities who have been part of our story.
Throughout the year, we’ll share memories, celebrate milestones, host community events, and look ahead to the next generation of connections.

Our Story
For 75 years, Red River Communications has evolved alongside the communities we serve.
From party-line telephones to fiber-optic broadband capable of multi-gigabit speeds, technology has changed dramatically—but one thing has remained constant: our commitment to providing reliable communications services backed by local people who care.
Today, we’re continuing to invest in the future by expanding fiber broadband to more homes and businesses, ensuring our rural communities remain connected for generations to come.
