This year, many Red River customers received an internet speed upgrade at no extra monthly cost!
If you were on our Simple Essential package, we doubled your speed from 250 Mbps to 500 Mbps. Our Connected Home subscribers now get 1 GIG, and our Trailblazer customers now get an upgrade from 1 Gig to a whopping 2 Gigs of speed!
Why we made this change:
Technology evolves quickly, and the number of connected devices in the average home keeps growing. As your local cooperative provider, we stay ahead of that curve so you don’t have to think about it.
In 2026, the average household connects around 20 to 25 devices to its home internet. Tech-savvy families, especially those with teenagers, often have more than 30. Just five years ago, most homes had only 10 to 15 devices.

We continually reinvest in our fiber network to ensure it remains strong, reliable, and built for the future. When we can provide more speed without raising your rate, we believe that’s the right move for our customers.
I wasn’t upgraded. Can you tell me why?
If you’re one of the few customers who haven’t seen an increase in speed, it is for one of two reasons.
- You need an equipment upgrade: Some customers have older equipment at home that needs to be upgraded before we can increase your speed. If you received a letter or call about upgrading, call 701-553-8309 to schedule a time that works best for you.
