Account Management Support

SmartHub is a mobile and web app that allows customers to manage their utility or telecommunications accounts. SmartHub is available as a free app for download on iOS and Android devices, or as a web version that can be accessed from any web-enabled device.  

You can use SmartHub to:  

  • View usage and billing: See your current and past bills. 
  • Make payments: You can make payments securely using a credit card or bank account.  
  • Report issues: You can report service issues, such as an outage, and receive updates on the status of the issue.  
  • Receive notifications: You an sign up to receive notifications about their account, such as when their bill is due or if there is an outage.  
  • Manage accounts: You can manage multiple accounts, and link them together using the same username and password. Such as if you are a Cass County Electric, Ottertail Power or Dakota Valley Electric, manage both accounts from your SmartHub app. 
  • Set up automatic payments: You can set up monthly automatic payments.  
  • Track usage: Customers can track their electric use and demand to help manage it.

SmartHub is available for Smithville customers to pay online without registering for an account. Customers will need their Last Name or Business Name and Account Number (or miscellaneous receivable account number) when logging in.
