How do I register with the National Do Not Call database?

The federal government created the National Do Not Call Registry to help you stop getting most telemarketing sales calls.

You can register online at DONOTCALL.GOV for email address or you can call the toll free number, 1-888-382-1222.  You must call from the phone number you wish to register, so your landline or cell number.  If you receive telemarketing calls after your number has been registered after three months, you can file a complaint at DONOTCALL.GOV or call 1-888-382-1222.  You have to know the company’s name or phone number to file a “do not call” complaint.
